Caroline and Paraic wedding in Gougane Barra and Barnabrow House
I had a pleasure to join Caroline and Paraic for two wonderful days.
I was pretty excited about this wedding from the first email I received
from Caroline. They got married in a small church in truly unique place
Gougane Barra - an ideal setting for intimate weddings - surrounded by
immediate families. On the second day, I travelled to Barnabrow House
where Caroline and Paraic celebrated their marriage with the family
and friends. It was such a relaxed and beautiful day filled with
tons of positive vibes. Some of the highlights below. Happy scrolling.

Temple House | Shirleen and Declan | Sligo wedding photography
Temple House really knows how to make every individual wedding shine on its own.
It’s one of those venues that is stunningly beautiful, yet completely unique all at once,
allowing couples to make their weddings "their own". Personal touches are key when it comes to decor,
and letting individual personalities shine through, and Temple House knows the potential they have,
which is just part of what makes it my favourite place in Sligo for weddings.
The day of Declan and Shirleen’s wedding was picture-perfect. It couldn’t have been written any better.
Even the weather cooperated with us that day, allowing the bride and groom to have their first dance outside,
against the backdrop of the castle ruins. It truly felt like a magical moment.
Not only is Temple House unique on its own, but Declan and Shirleen really knew how to make it ‘theirs’ for the day,
resulting in an absolutely beautiful and breathtaking event, from start to finish.

"...My advice would be to do it your way. Don't get bogged down with traditions and others people's expectations.
Wear the dress you want to wear, have the decorations you want to have etc.
At the end of the day, your wedding is about celebrating the union of you and your partner with your closest friends and family."
Kate
This was my second time shooting in De Burg Manor, and I felt lucky to be back! In addition, this was also the second time
I was able to witness so much kindness and love blossoming from this location - the peaceful atmosphere there almost makes it feel
as though time itself is moving slower. Kate and Nick planned their Irish wedding from abroad, as they both live in Vancouver, Canada.
Organizing a wedding can be stressful on its own, but it can seem especially overwhelming from a different country!
Luckily, the couple had tons of support from family, which can really make all the difference in the world.
It was a true joy to see everything come together, and how so many people chipped in right away,
even in the early hours of the morning.
This day was about capturing the beautiful connection between all of the guests and families in this incredibly peaceful environment.
The entire ‘vibe’ of the day was relaxed and calm, which let the love surrounding everyone really come through even more.
Please, take a look at the beauty of the day for yourself, and you’ll surely see that this location is something special,
especially when the people filling it are full of so much happiness!
Dublin city wedding | L + A | No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place
Sometimes I get asked what type of weddings I like to photograph? Where I like to shoot?
I don’t have a simple answer for that but if someone asks me – what I like to photograph at weddings?
What do I like to show in my pictures? – then the answer is very simple - people in love,
a warm family atmosphere filled with positive emotions and a laid back couple enjoying their wedding day.
Yes, this all happened at No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place. I was looking forward to shooting this Dublin city wedding.
Lynda and Aaron had their Letter and Wine box ceremony
- one of my favourite personal touches - in a cosy, elegant room, surrounded by their families and close friends.
Elopement in Ireland | Intimate wedding in Dromoland Castle
Some time ago someone asked me – Rafal what are those wedding elopements?
Well the answer is below. These intimate weddings are truly spectacular and so was this one.
Amanda and Bryan came to Ireland all the way over from Atlanta
and had their outdoor Celtic blessing ceremony in the garden at Dromoland Castle.
Their ceremony was touching, emotional and peaceful at the same time.
The beauty of the castle along with the couple's relaxed nature made my job very easy
from morning preparation to the last few minutes I spent with them.
These type of weddings gives you the freedom to go anywhere without worrying so much about the time.
So after the ceremony, we explored the grounds of the castle and I also got a chance to eventually visit the Burren.
Irish Elopement in Roundwood House | McCaela & Joe
I felt a connection with McCaela and Joe from the very start, and was excited to be a part of this intimate Irish elopement.
I couldn’t have asked for more upon hearing their special plans for the day, or their location.
It was very clear how in love they were, and how special this relationship was.
They chose to get married in their hometown of Boston about a month before they came to Ireland,
to exchange their vows in Roundwood House - a truly magical place,
ideal for small, intimate, emotional ceremonies. And of course, their ceremony didn’t disappoint on any of those levels!
There wasn’t a dry eye in the house (including my own) as the pair exchanged their vows,
and I truly felt as though I was a part of something magical. The warm, inviting atmosphere allowed everyone to relax,
feel comfortable, and enjoy the most touching moments between McCaela and Joe, and I’m truly honoured I was able to be a part of it.
Wedding in Marlfield House |A + J| Wedding photography Wexford
Wedding in Marlfield House
~ We wanted a small civil ceremony and reception in the same venue,
where everyone could stay over. Marlfield ticked the boxes and was just stunning.
We liked that the set up was a bit different from typical wedding venues.
The band play in the reception area and the dining wasn't a typical function room set-up. ~

Wedding in De Burgh Manor | S + G | Natural and artistic photography
A beautiful wedding in De Burgh Manor was an amazing experience. Two wonderful people, loving and kind-hearted families and friends. I had such an awesome day at Sarah & Glen’s wedding. I’m so excited to share with you some of the pictures from their wedding.
